Eric Spors was raised with a simple but powerful mindset: *“If you’re going to do something, do it right.”* That philosophy has guided him throughout his career and life. After graduating college and initially seeking work as an A&P airplane mechanic, he found his path in plumbing when he began apprenticing under his uncle. What started as a temporary job quickly turned into a lifelong trade. Eric moved to Pagosa Springs in 2004 and earned his Master Plumbing License, after completing his apprenticeship, about 5 years later. He credits much of his success to the mentorship of the master plumber he worked under—someone who taught him to be patient, look deeper into each situation, and value the importance of proper troubleshooting. That approach helped him gain a deep understanding of his craft. His work ethic is hands-on and thorough, whether it’s belly-crawling under houses, digging up broken pipes, or wedged under cabinets fixing leaks. While not glamorous, those tasks become rewarding when the problem is resolved the right way. Eric believes in taking pride in every job and ensuring it’s done with care and cleanliness. Clear communication is a key part of Eric’s approach. He makes sure customers understand the problem and the solution, helping them feel confident and informed. As Pagosa continues to grow, Eric welcomes the chance to meet more people and take on new challenges. Over the years, he’s had the privilege of working in some of the area’s most stunning homes, and he’s deeply grateful to those who’ve trusted him to get the job done right.
